I have two airport express 2 units, both on wi-fi, each connected to a speaker. I am able to stream from the Music app on my iPhone to one of them but not the other.

I'm wondering if airplay 2 is like bluetooth, i.e. only one device can be connected at a time. Is there a way to see who is connected to an airplay 2 device? Maybe some else is connected to the other speaker.

Thanks,
Steve

when you start a stream from a new device it should kick the old one off.
So to answer your question. --- no, a speaker can't be "locked" to a sender.

try rebooting everything. router, wifi (if seperate), airport expresses, phone
the majority of airplay weirdness can be cleared up by rebooting.

even if someone was sending to a speaker, rebooting that speaker would also kick them off.
