Airplay and App Switching

In iOS 8, when mirroring from an iPad over AirPlay, the app switcher was "hidden" from the mirror. This made making presentation really cool as the audience couldn't tell I was in multiple apps. Now in iOS 9, it appears that the app switcher is being mirrored in AirPlay.
Is anyone else having this happen?
