Airplay and mirror mode

Hi all,

After the release of IOS 5 I purchased a ATV2 to use with my ipad2 and iphone 4S

The ATV2 is plugged directly into my LAN and the ipad2 and 4S is wifi connected

But playing games or moving around the dashboard is horrible

The game real racing 2 is unplayable

Has anyone else tired this, I'm pretty gutted as this was the killer app for me and the ATV2

I've done mirroring on my 4S with the ATV and I didn't have any problems. Worked really well for playing games, but I haven't tried with real racing.

Have you tried connecting your ATV to the wifi network as well instead of LAN? When I used it, my ATV was on the wifi network.
