Airplay and Vudu?

I know the iOS app does not allow AirPlay and I tried playing a movie on Safari on my iPhone and no go! I tried using Puffin in desktop mode and the movie plays but only in the app it ignores the global AirPlay settings.

has anyone been successful and how did you do it.

Ps. I have a ATV3 and a ATV 4.

Have you tried enabling mirroring? I have some shows in Vudu I was able to watch on my AppleTV.

I have and it works I just don't like getting messages and stuff on the top of the screen. It kills the battery faster than the regular AirPlay.

Why not turn on DND during a movie?

That would solve one issue but then you have your iphone discharging at a faster rate. I solved my problem by picking up a Roku 3 that was on sale at CostCo.

Just pick up a Roku^^^^^^^^^^^problem solved and opens up many more doors to boot......
