Hi folks,
Potential Mac newbie here, I have the iPhone 4, but waiting to spend my operational allowance from Afghanistan in an Apple Store!
My question, AirPlay suggests that it will play to any registered AirPlay device (the iHome one being one of the first yet to be relesed I believe!) through an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad. Does that include playing music held on an iTunes server like a Synology DiskStation (which I have already invested in!).
I can't imagine having all my music synced to my mobile devices, but will Remote allow me to access my NAS stored music and have it playing through an AirPlay speaker???
My master plan, is to convert to all Mac, after being PC for the last 20 years! I'd also like to ditch our TV, settling for downloaded movies and on demand through an iMac.
Thoughts on both would be appreciated!
Regards
Andy
