I've searched Twitter & Google and confirmed from several AirPlay enthusiasts that AirPlay 2 is NOT available. There's no official news from Apple, Apple bloggers, it's all just crickets. AirPlay is a HUGE part of my life so it was literally the first thing I tried when I upgraded to iOS 11.
Pro Tip: Stop blocking "Connect" in Apple Music vis Restrictions. Many of us disabled Apple Music "Connect" in the past and if you still have Connect blocked you WON'T have access to any of Apple Music's new social features.
