I'm not in a position to test this report from a client right now but I was hoping that someone could test this for me.

We have an Apple TV 2 hooked up via HDMI to a projection system. The audio, however, must route through a standard 3.5mm hookup. I'm told that when the user initiates an AirPlay mirroring session and then connects the headphone plug the video immediately cuts out.

I know that this design is sub-optimal. It is, unfortunately, what there is to deal with. I'd like to know if connecting headphones to the iPad while doing mirroring breaks the video stream for any of you and if they two work simultaneously.

THANK YOU!
