AirPlay mirroring less than stellar for anyone else?

I was really looking forward to the AirPlay mirroring function, especially for games. So far, though, I've been underwhelmed.

It seems buggy to me, with both sound and video stuttering.

Real Racing 2 is unusable because half the time there's no video.

Anyone else seeing this? Otherwise, both the AppleTV and the iPhone 4S are working phenomenally. Just not very well together, which bums me out a bit.

It's not working at all for me. The "Mirroring" switch goes back go off after a few seconds, and the AppleTV never starts the mirroring. Works fine on an iPad 2 on the same network with the same AppleTV, so it must be something with the iPhone :/
