Airplay Mirroring to PC

I have a hard time justifying buying an Apple TV at this point given how much my laptop can do hooked up to my home theater. Is there any Windows based application that will basically emulate an Apple TV to allow airplay mirroring?

No, Airplay Mirroring applies Fairplay DRM to the stream to make sure it's going to an Apple TV only.

Someone would effectively have to break the Fairplay DRM to do it by extracting the client certificate from a box. I would suggest that that person would quite likely feel the hand of Apple legal, given that would be of very considerible threat to them.
