Wow! So happy just found this out ... not sure why it wasn't reported more prominently(?).

If you option click on the speaker icon in the menubar, you can change your output to any airplay enabled device ... basically system-wide airplay!

Did everyone know about this already or what?

From looking at your signature, have a question ... I was thinking about get a thunderbolt display ... since getting your RMBP, has it been disheartening to use the 27" display? i.e. does it look too pixelated?

I think you should go for the TBD. I switch often between the various retina/non-retina screen for mac between the MBA, RMBP, and TBD. I don't find it pixelated at all. Yes, I can see the difference when I'm using the RMBP and when I'm not using it but I adopt fast it is not irritating at all.

As much as I would want a Retina TBD, I would be afraid that the RMBP would cause it to lag. The TBD is near retina quality to me already.
