Airplay Question

Here is my situation:

I have an iMac in the office which is used as a media server. In the living room downstairs I have a mac mini connected to my 55" tv using plex getting the media from the iMac.

Now if I'm reading things correctly when I use the plex app on my ipad and watch a movie, I can then hit airplay and it will play on the new apple tv in my bedroom? Is this correct?

If it is then I will buy two Apple TVs right now, one for the bedroom, one for the living room upstairs and will be very close to cancelling dish network.

In November - Yes (most likely) - we won't know until we can try this out - even devs can't see if this works yet - one quick note - I was able to AirPlay HuluPlus (audio) to the new ATV by AirPlaying in the iPod app and then jumping into Hulu - it keeps the same audio source - not sure if this will work when video is added to AirPlay
