Hey guys,
I'm trying to set up a cheap multiroom audio system with my Mac Mini and this D-Link wireless music extender. Right after setting it up iTunes played in sync through both the Amp connected to the headphone jack of the Mac and the speakers connected to the D-Link extender. After switching between single and multiple speakers I got about half a second lag on the extender, rebooting both devices, restarting iTunes etc. didn't help. I know some extenders lag but how can this one have worked in the beginning and then decided it won't anymore?
Does anyone know of a way to offset single speakers? Any third-party apps you could recommend to try to reduce the lag? Or is this simply a hardware issue that I can't do anything about?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
V
