Airplay symbol on the connectivity glance

I noticed that the airplay symbol on the Glance which has airplane mode, etc. was lit up a blue color for a brief amount of time today. I can't figure out why that happened. Shortly thereafter it was not lit up and not clickable. When I clicked it I saw one option to choose, which was "Apple Watch."

Any idea why this lit up and what it does?

Same thing happened to me like 2 days ago. Rebooted the watch and it went away.

Same issue here. I've never paired my Apple Watch with headphones. I noticed this after I had significant battery drain. I couldn't turn it off unless I rebooted the AW. this is definitely a bug.
