Recently updated my Mac to Ventura and it will not AirPlay to any of my Sonos speakers.
It sees them & they all show in the list of audio outputs in the Music app list (as well as in Finder from the toolbar and in the Sound tab of system settings), when selected a speaker shows as connected but there's zero audio and the audio to the Mac drops - if I have the Mac selected as output & then add a Sonos speaker audio to the Mac stops too despite the app showing music is playing.
I thought it may relate to Home app so manually added all speakers in there. They show up but with a banner saying ‘Not supported’ however Home recognizes the Sonos device, shows serial # etc.
Under previous OS I had no problems whatsoever, worked flawlessly.
Should add that AirPlay from my iPhone & iPad works as expected to all Sonos speakers & rooms.
Issue seems to be 100% with the Ventura OS.
Any thoughts?
