Hello. I hope you can tell me if I'm doing something wrong here.

I purchased an Apple TV to stream video from my iPad via AirPlay. However, the quality of the image is worse than I expected. I get a better image when I connect the iPad to my HDTV using the VGA adapter. I usually use AirVideo but the same thing happens with Youtube.

The image quality of the movies I rent on the Apple TV is perfect.

Is this normal? Shouldn't I get a better image with Apple TV and HDMI? IS there something that I need to do? Thank you.

Saludos,
Sergio

I didnt do anything else - I airplay 720p movies from my iPad/iPhone straight to my AppleTV2, and get excellent quality.

What quality are your original video files in??
When using Youtube - are you using 720p or above video clips?
