iPod touch Airplay Works With iTunes in Mac, but Doesn't Work When Using Airplay Functions in iT

I have airport expresses hooked up with speakers. Everything works fine when I use the airplay function on mac but the whole thing doesn't work when I use the airplay function inside the itouch music app. When I click it and choose the speaker, the thing lights blue and it starts playing but nothing comes out of my speakers. I have iTouch 3rd Generation with iOS 4.3.5.
