i remember being able to turn my iPhone 4 into an AirPlay speaker with iOS 4 with AirPlaySpeaker from Cydia.

Is there any way to do this with iOS 6?

I tried to do it manually following these directions but no dice....

1.Install iOS 4.0 or later to your iOS device and Jailbreak it.

2.Install iFile on your Jailbroken iOS device.

3.Download AirPlay.zip and unzip it.

4.Copy “airtunesd” into “/usr/libexec” on your device.

5.Copy “com.apple.airtunesd” to “/System/Library/LaunchDaemons” on your device.

6.Using iFile set “airtunesd” and :com.apple.airtunesd” permissions to 0755 or read, write, execute for group ad global. File owner must be “root” and group is set to “wheel”.

7.Reboot your device.

8.Start iTunes on your computer and play music.

9.Click on the AirPlay icon and you should see your iOS device name as a remote AirPlay speaker. Just make sure your computer and iOS device is on the same Wi-Fi network.
