Has anyone had this issue..

AirPod 2, only the right airpod works, no sound out of left one.

When the left ear pod is placed in the case, I get a green flashing light (as if it’s connected to the power supply), even when it’s not charging.

If I put just the right ear in the case, I get solid green light, so correct working.

If both are in the case, then again, green flashing light like the case thinks it’s charging when it’s not. It only happens if the left ear is in the case.

Status is case is 99% charged, right ear is 100% charged, left ear doesn’t even show.

If I put the AirPods in a different case, the case displays the same behaviour, so certainly the left AirPod at fault.

I’ve tried holding the reset button for 15 seconds, disconnecting and reconnecting etc, plus the advice in the macrumors thread about one AirPod not working.

Firmware is up to date.

Any ideas anyone?

It sounds like the left side is faulty and not being able to connect. Take it back to Apple and see if you can get it replaced.
