I have the Airpod 2s with wireless charging case. I feel like I have to charge them twice a week vs once with my first gen. The airpods themselves always charge and stay at 100 percent while in the case but if I leave them in the case while using my phone through out the day they (the case) drains 18% or so over a 12 hour period. Airpods still at 100%. I assume there is an issue so I decided to let them sit overnight assuming they would drain 18 percent or so not being used in the case. When I checked this morning they did not drain at all. The only difference is I don't use my phone at night. They do not show connected to the phone during the day when they are in the case.

I'm tempted to exchange them at the Apple store but since they don't drain overnight in the case when I don't used my phone im wondering if its a bug? Next I may try turning the BT off on my phone and use it through out the day and see if they drain at all.

Again these tests are done with no Airpod use and thy are closed in the case.
