Airpod 3 fit and sound compared to previous Airpods

There are various opinions on the Airpods 3 and mostly about their fit. Has anyone gone from Airpod or Airpods 2 to 3 and how was the fit and sound?

I went ahead and got the Airpod 3 and tried as much as I could to 'love it,' I had to return it due to the fact my ears are not ideal for the fit these Airpods bring. For others - the sound is very good and certainly a bit more depth in the bass and overall sound is as good or better than the Airpod 2. The "click" on the stems is a matter of taste and for me, it was simply okay. Also, if I used pause, when unpausing the volume would be up a bit higher then quickly return to last setting. That was a bit uncomfortable at times. In the end, opted for another Airpod 2 pair. If/when I want premium sound, I know to return to wired cans.
