Airpod Battery

Does anyone else get strange battery levels on their AirPods? I was listening to music from 6:30am until 9:40 am using only the left one. I’ve had these since launch day and understand that the battery will show some degradation. I’m still happy with over 3 hours. What’s strange is that when I put it in the charging case, I immediately show 60% charge when it was showing 1% literally a second before. Is this normal?

yeah im having the same issue...
battery seems to die down pretty fast with minimal usage now

I noticed this after 10 months usage L,R earpods both on 0% charge 1 minute to 34% 6 minutes listening back to 10%
