AirPod & Beats X Wireless Range?

I’m considering getting one of these products (right now leaning towards Beats X). However, I don’t see any info on the wireless range. Anyone come across this info?

On the BeatsX product page they state that it uses class 1 Bluetooth. So, if connected to another class 1 device it can theoretically have a range of 100 meters. http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MLYF2LL/A/beatsx-earphones-white

No idea about the airpods though, as they just mention they are Bluetooth.

Since they are both using the W1 chip I'd assume it's the same. But only a guess based on my own logic... don't sure if Apple will agree with that logic.

Range-wise they are fairly standard, cutting out at around 50 feet with minor obstructions.

Noticed the class 1 BT too, unfortunately very few other devices support it. I would expect both items to have average BT range. 10-15m.

Well that's disappointing... but not terrible. Usually BT is 30 feet.
