Airpod lost

So I tried to use the find my iphone app to locate my one lost airpod and the only one that shows up on the map is the one.

I thought it was supposed to show the last location if not online? It seems to be acting like the other never existed and I am now in mono mode.

It only works when within Bluetooth range.

But isn't it supposed to show the last place it "was" connected?
