AirPod Pro 2nd gen cannot answer a call

Just purchased the latest AirPod pro 2nd gen and I cannot answer a call no matter how many times I double tap either pod ?

am I doing something wrong.

Ok thanks every link I found says to double tap the pod.

still can’t get it working though as pressing the stem just changes the anc.

Just press. Don’t press and hold.
