AirPod Pro 3 Ear Tips.... Will they work on AirPod Pro 2?

Sorry if someone has already had this discussion in the forums - I couldn't find it, at least not at a quick search. Got thinking about the AirPod Pro 3 and their new eartips with foam inside - will they work on the AirPod Pro 2? I can't find anywhere that it's being addressed, but if they do, would they also then improve slightly the sound on the 2s, or would it make no difference?

Thoughts?

I wish. That was my goal. Apple website says they will not fit the new 3s

It's been demonstrated in reviews that the connector is quite a bit different.
