Plugged in, took screenshot to note version. Checked for upgrade (a but premature and then did it again. The model # changed between the initial test, the second and on the final it was back. How would the model # change?
One is the part number for left AirPod - one for right AirPod - one for case.
Why is it switching there? I assume, due to the firmware update in progress - you can see it changed from 8B30 to 8B34 in your screenshots. Probably one item updated prior to the others, but if they're all up to date now it should be fine.
