I'm having a slightly strange issue with my AirPod Pro (first generation) case

I put it down to charge on my Anker Wireless Charger (PowerWave+ Pad) and the light on the case illuminates for a few seconds then turns back off (I think this is normal), I leave overnight and pick up the next morning to find the case hasn't charged at all!

I also had similar the other day at work, I plugged it into my laptop with an official Lightning to USB C cable and at the end of the day took it off and it had...1% charge!

Does anyone have any tips as to what I can try? The only reliable way seems to be charging them directly via a wall socket but I'm sure the other methods used to work fine in the past, the only difference I can think of is the actual AirPods were replaced about 6 months ago as part of the Apple replacement for the rattling issue

Sounds like a hardware issue. Have you tried plugging it in directly using a wall jack? If your phone charges through the Anker pad and through the USB-C cable, then I want to believe it's the APPs itself.
