• Fit:
  The new ear tips may initially feel loose but can create pressure points, even when the iPhone indicates a good seal. Trying different ear tip sizes hasn't helped all.

I am seeing reports of the Pro-3 irritating the otitis externa at a specific spot until it bleeds. On the earpiece it is were the heart sensor is located. I have not worn mine enough to know is this will happen to me.

First of all, get your terminology straight. "Otitis externa" is NOT an anatomical location. It is an infection caused by bacteria or fungi. If you do have otitis external and you rub anything against the involved area, it might bleed. Why would anyone try to stick anything in an infected external canal is beyond me (unless it is related to treatment of the disorder).

Secondly, if you believe that article, then I have a bridge over the Pacific ocean you might be interested in buying. The fraud and fakery is out of control. Unless there was a pre-existing problem with one's ear, sticking an airpod in the ear is not going to cause bleeding. The fact that "everyone" is blaming this on the heart sensor is simply hard to believe, unless one is a conspiracy theorist (which is becoming a national pastime).
