“If you’re on your Apple TV with a bigger screen, our tuning is different than it would be on an iPhone.”

"the sound signature is something that is “developing all the time”, so they don’t stick to rigid parameters."

WhatHiFi

Unlike other audio companies where one or a small team of expert headphone designers that have been working at the same company for decades, Apple is playing it loose by using a group of audio testers (which will change over time as some leave), constant sound profile adjustments, and multi-device/situation tuning to basically make life crazy for those of us who expect the sound reproduction to be the "same" all the time.

So what this reveals about the Airpods Pro is you WILL get "screwy" audio at times because of all that's going on to adjust the sound reproduction.

While it's unlikely Apple will ever release a "fix and set my Airpods Pro sound profile at # and never adjust it" or "diy custom sound profile", everyone that's been posting about weird audio, audio that sounds better then worse, etc now knows why this all occurs.

Screwy? I hate when eggheads use complicated vernacular. Just dumb it down for me!
