Hi

on my company laptop they disabled bluetooth due to security reasons.
But I still would like to use my Airpods Max for online meetings. I have some USB-Dongle where I can listen to the audio, but the microphone doesn't work.
Do you see any workaround or way to make that happen? Some special dongle or cable or whatever?

thanks!

Same situation here. What I do is use my AirPods Max for online Zooms, Teams, etc. to listen, then to speak I change the Mic output to go to the webcam sitting on top of my monitors.

I haven't found any other workarounds to use the AirPods Max for the mic functionality on our work PCs.

crazy, that this don't work. At home I have a Jabra speaker/mic, so without any headset. For me the problem is in the office and i don't want to carry a device extra with me (webcam, mic or whatever).
I know i can connect the Airpods to my Phone and then join the Teams call by phone and by notebook, but that's a bit annoying.

I left out the fact that some of us in the office bought USB-C Bluetooth adapters to plug into our work PCs for our AirPods Max…you can find them on Amazon. They work - but sometimes they are a hit or miss connecting to the adapter. I stopped using it because I can’t waste time toying with connecting when joining a Zoom or Teams call. So I just do what I said in my above post instead. 🤷‍♂️

i have tried some of these, one i got working, but only with audio output, no voice
