Apple's AirPods Max have returned in stock at Verizon and B&H Photo today, with Silver and Space Gray models ready to ship out for delivery as soon as next week. You can get the Silver and Space Gray AirPods Max on Verizon for $549.00, but the other three colors are out of stock.

Additionally, you can get the Silver and Space Gray AirPods Max on B&H Photo, priced as expected at $549.00. Amazon doesn't have any stock available today, so these are your best options for purchasing the AirPods Max with a quick shipping estimate.

We've been keeping track of AirPods Max stock at third-party retailers because the headphones still have shipping estimates delayed by over a month on Apple's website. It's typically easier to purchase the Silver and Space Gray options, but in past weeks we did see Sky Blue available for a short time.

AirPods Max feature Active Noise Cancellation technology and the same Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and spatial audio features that are in the AirPods Pro. If you're hunting for even more AirPods deals, we track sales for every model of the AirPods in our Best AirPods Deals guide.

Can't wait for a v2 that I can optionally hardwire to listen to higher definition audio. Not Apple's fault, limitations of Bluetooth technology.

www.thesource.ca in Canada has AirPods Max available now. I bought a blue one. It arrived at the local store for pickup in 3 business days.

Noise cancellation is better in AirPods Max compared to AirPods Pro. I like the case.

You can optionally hardwire them, but I’m not sure how much of a quality increase it would be. You have to buy a $35 headphone jack to lightning cable, which converts the signal A->D, which is then converted D->A in the headset. Don’t know what the bitrate limitations are on this process though.

Blue colour still super rare
I ordered the blue from Apple in Dec, and it's due to ship 2/17-3/4. I periodically check if the blue is in stock at the Apple Store or other sources and have yet to see one in stock anywhere.

I picked up a pair of gray ones at Target 2 days ago. All stores in the NY/NJ area were getting trickle supplies. I watched for a few days until they became available near me.
By the way, the sound quality and noise cancellation are phenomenal (for Bluetooth). I am not an audio expert by any means but the difference in the separation of musical instruments and detail are night and day from my Beats Solo 3, AirPods Pro and iHome Mini. Couldn’t be happier. The weight is not an issue and soon forgotten once on.

Just imagine if those came with a protective case that has a port for charging like other AirPods. That would be cool.
Also surprising they don't charge with the new MagSafe puck. Seems like a no-brainer to be able to stick that thing onto the side of one of the cups.

Check your local Apple Store, I got my last week. 2 hour delivery from my local store. And today it looks like a local store has pink Maxs in stock.

In the U.K., Space grey and silver on the Apple Store go to preparing to ship within an hour of ordering. They arrive on your doorstep within four days of that

These things selling so well is proof the next round of stimulus checks needs to have some sort of income cutoff....

They were available for about 3 hours at local (to me) apple stores a few days after the unveiling. Been watching the Apple store app to see what colors are being delivered. I’ve seen blue twice, but green and pink only once. Plenty of space grey going around though.

There's already an adapter that does just that.
They are wanting the hard wire to allow for higher def music listening. Like lossless files that isn’t possible over Bluetooth. I’m not sure if using a cable unlocks this, as it’s probably the same Bluetooth quality, wired or not.

I’m loving my AirPods Max, so not an issue for me. But this and a better included case would be what’s on my wish list.

I used to love BH but ever since they started charging sales tax for out of state the deals became kind of pointless.

AirPods Max hasn’t been difficult to find lately. I almost feel like I should buy it when it pops in stock just because of its limited supply. (I feel the same way about the PlayStation 5, which I probably wouldn’t want as much if it was readily available.)

I just can’t bring myself to pay $549 for them, but that’s also because I have no need for any more headphones at this time. If I was in the market it would be my first choice, it’s just not cheap enough to be an impulse buy.

I have a different opinion about the AirPods Max case. I think it works really well for home use. It gives you some extra protection on top of your desk or on your coffee table near the TV. Very easy to take in/out of the case, and it provides access for charging. It also matches the the general case style/materials of the iPad cases that Apple sells.

Was it really designed to be used for heavy travel? I doubt it. Anyone who wants to regularly take the AirPods Max back and forth from work or does a lot of plane travel will definitely want to look into other options. That's certainly a shortcoming of the design, but then again the bigger zippered cases or bags have shortcomings for home use. They're not really as convenient or accessible versus Apple's design.
