Airpods...October in store

Any reason all the Apple stores near me say they will have the AirPods oct 10th...but Best Buy has them all over the place? I thought the new case isn't due out yet...so I am trying to figure out if there is some other revision to them for october?

It's probably because Apple Store is out of stock. You can still check the store as they may have them available as they set a few aside for walk ins. Just because apple.com shows it out of stock doesn't necessarily mean that it's out.

I don't think the revised AirPods case is out yet. Rumor has it that it would be in December. But I also heard that they are selling the Airpods case with inductive charging case separately? So if you already have the AirPods, you can just by the charging case only.
