Airpods work perfectly when connected to my iphone but when i connect it to my touch bar macbook pro, sound only comes out on one side (right). When I place the right side airpod into the case then sound comes out on the left side. I’ve tried resetting the airpods at least 10 times but it’s still the same. If I open ‘sound preferences’ on my mac then and only then the sound comes out on BOTH sides. As soon as I close sound preferences, it goes back to the same problem - sound on right side only.
Oddly, the double tap (play/pause) feature on my left airpod works even when the sound does not come out on the left side.
This is so annoying its giving me cancer... How can I fix this?
