I've just taken delivery of AirPods Pro 2 and I've spent an hour trying to complete the hearing test (takes 10 minutes) and each time it runs through to the end and then proclaims, "Unable to classify due to background noise." I'm in a totally silent room, the only way I could make it quieter is to stop breathing! The Apple Support forum has 278 'me too' reports of this error at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255820811

Running iOS 18.2 on the iPhone. Any suggestions welcomed.

Try the Mimi hearing test app or upload your audiogram to the Airpods.
