Airpods Pro 3 engraving doesn't show on iPhone when pairing

Just got my Airpods Pro 3 this morning and when I went to pair it with my new iPhone Pro 17 Max or old iPhone Pro 16 Max, it didn't show the engraving on the Airpods case on the screen. I tried unpairing/re-pairing, hard resetting Airpods then re-repairing, and nothing works to make the engraving show.

The engraving for my old Airpods Pro 2 still shows on both my new and old iPhone.

Anyone else having this issue?

I too have this problem. I have the 💩 emoji on AirPods Pro 3 and only my AirPods Pro 2 reflect the 💩 emoji on UI.

I just got my APP3 today and my engraving showed up.

Have you tried again since 26.0.1 was released?

Maybe that was the trick. Despite doing this pultiple times prior, I unpaired and re-paired and now the engraving shows up 🤷‍♂️

Just kidding, the engraving disappeared after closing then reopening the case. Problem is intermittent.

yes, unfortunately mine still doesn't show despite the upgrade. My APP2 engraving does show.
I'm hoping that a future firmware upgrade for either the iphone or the Airpods will help.
I could try wiping my phone and restoring from back up again to see if that makes a difference but all that time to just the engraving to show (with no guarantee that it'll work) doesn't seem to be worth it.
