Hi,

I’m using AirPods Pro 3 (latest firmware) with an iPhone 15 Plus on iOS 26.
Sometimes, when I start the Hearing Test in the airpods settings app or the Health app, I get the message:

“Place the AirPods in your ears” even though they are already in and working.

I noticed it usually happens when ANC turns off before finishing the pre-test questionnaire.
If ANC switches off after the questionnaire, the test works fine.
Usually, getting out of the test and restart fixes it.

I have 0 issues with proximity sensors media stops and go as soon as put it in.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just a software quirk?

Thanks!
