AirPods Pro 3 whistling sound?

I’ve been loving my AirPods Pro 3 for the past 5 days, but today the left earbud started making this awful whistling sound. It’s super annoying and I’m worried it might actually damage my hearing.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

No whistling in my APP3s or my wife's APP3s. That sounds like a defect.

Yeah I’ve read a couple of reports on Reddit from other users who encountered it. First I thought I was lucky but today I learned that I was sadly mistaken.

Yes I believe my left AirPod suffers from the same issue.

I only ever hear a whistling when first inserting them 🤔 Once ANC turns on, everything goes silent (which is how it should work, right?)
