I've looked at the settings and read about the features. I can't find a way to tap them to answer a call. I think that's the most convenient thing for the non-pro version. Is there a way to do it?

On the pros, I think you just squeeze the “pod” once to answer a call.

The functionality is physically different between the models - tap on the Air Pods and squeeze on the Air Pods Pro.
