Amazon is selling the AirPods Pro 2 for $169.00 this week, a discount of $80 off of the regular $249 price tag. Prime users should be able to get overnight delivery on the AirPods Pro 2 in most areas.

$169 is the second lowest price that we've seen for the AirPods Pro 2 this year, so it's a good time to pick them up if you're in need of new noise cancelling earbuds.

Rumors suggest that Apple will release the AirPods Pro 3 this year, but they won't be available at a price as low as $169. Amazon's deals sometimes sell out quick, so we recommend picking up the AirPods soon if you're interested.

Lowest I've seen this year was on Amazon for $149 ( Prime day - obviously expired now )

I'd wait till BF for a deal on the Airpod Pro 3s ( if they are indeed released this year ). I recall buying the Pro 2 ( albeit the non magsafe version ) for $169 the year they were released on BF the same year.

grabbed a pair when they were down to 149. i’ve had my gen 1 pros for almost four years now.
Same here! My right gen 1 Pro earbud was starting to squeal when I touched it, so I grabbed the gen 2 Pros for $149. They're a considerable upgrade in sound quality, and they fit my ears better.

How well do these work on an Android phone anyone know? From what I'm finding online, it's very much a compromised experience. I expected as much, you're naturally going to lose out on certain Apple devices only features.

I mostly want something that has a great transparency mode, battery life, comfort that I can wear at least a few hours at a time and great mics for phone calls since I still take a few of those a day and many of those I find myself outside walking.

I have a Pixel and have the 1st gen Pixel Buds Pro but they were just okay, I did like the swipe touch volume controls which I'm not sure if these have. It's hard to find someone that isn't in the $300+ range that has all these features.

a wired expensive headphone, i get, they can last seemingly forever, but since these are disposable items (can't replace the batteries, which is not great for the consumer or the environment to begin with - not picking on apple specifically, it's everywhere) I would not call that price cheap, but hey that's just me 😂. Since the stems have the battery in them, it would be nice if that section could unscrew from the ear section so you could replace them with a lot less waste than tossing the whole thing into a landfill, it would more or less look the same, except for a tiny seam.

Very good prices are available for both the normal and Pro variants frequently. Planning to get one of the models soon.

That is pretty cheap? I got some nice Sony headphones for £80, sound quality is good, can be used on Bluetooth or wired and don't fall off my head like these airpod things would fall out of my ears. If I lost one of them at that price, I would not be happy
As far as I know, these Airpods use Bluetooth, so you are not going to get great audio from them anyway as bluetooth compress audio and there is no getting away from that, even on the laest version of Bluetooth, and also I bet most people use MP3 anyway.

So does MR recommend them or not?

I wound buy anything but AirPods for apple devices for Spatial Audio alone.. but then again I have a Vision Pro and the lossless audio out of them sounds incredible for movies.

Know there are also a lot of europeans on this site.
And also know that we never get these low prices nor this high a frequency.

All these (low price apple product on amazon) adds are a reason to visit this site less.
Would be nice if MacRumors would help and find these low prices (of make them happen) in the EU.

Since when did Americans even know which countries belong to EU?

This tells me that Apple will release AirPods Pro 3 this September. It may get improved wireless connectivity features, a new shape and a new driver for better sound quality.

I have the AirPods Pro Gen 1. The right ear bud rattles when I make certain movements with my head. The left one just recently now has much weaker ANC than the right ear bud.

Should I be abandoning AirPods and go with Sony or get the gen 2 (or gen 3)? I mean this sucks.
