airpods pro won't play sound from case using findmy ios 18.2

After ios 18.2 update, I have my airpods pro beside me and when I try to play the lost notification it never plays. Clicking the button only spins and does nothing else. Anyone else have this issue?

After seeing your post, I did a test and the sound worked as expected. iP16Pro18.2 x APP2

Mine started working sometime overnight, may have been a glitch in the matrix.

I did an 18.2 beta, it caused all my AirTags to notify me that I was being followed by an unknown tag, when I attementd to find the unknown tag, it took me to my keys. My actual key in the find my app did not work.

rebooting sorted all of that.
