AirPods Second Generation Volume Bug?

Hi all,

Last night when pressing play on my AirPods (iPhone) the volume blasted in my ears I looked at the level and it was at 25% on the UI. I paused and played again and then the volume played at the expected level. This morning I paused them and restarted them about five minutes later (iPad) and they again blasted volume. The UI again showed way lower than the sound coming out. I lowered it to I paused the. And played them and again it played at the expected volume.

I appear to be on the latest firmware. Anyone else have this issue?

I've had this happen a couple if times with the first generation AirPods. Unfortunately I never figured what caused it - the problem always went away after disconnecting BT and reconnecting the earbuds.

Hmm…thanks! I’ll just not worry about it and see if they happens again.
