Trying to get to the bottom of this. So far no luck with support and honestly no idea what I would search for.

On my iPhone 13 Pro. When I listen with 1 pod and take out it plays for a moment through the phone speaker. Video shows this with me using fingers to fake ear detection.

I can’t repro this on my iPad but I can with multiple AirPods on my phone.

I think recently. Honestly, I only noticed as I was playing around with the AirPods Pro 2 and noticed it. I can't say for sure it's new or not unfortunately. Wish I could.

That does make it hard to tell, it could be something with the app, the AirPods, or even the OS. It could possibly be related to this even: https://www.macrumors.com/2022/09/25/airpods-pro-2-connection-randomly-droppping/
I thought so, too, except:
- Happens with my new AirPods and my old ones too.
- Doesn’t happen with any other music apps including Apple Music and Plex.
- doesn’t happen the first time after a fresh launch of Spotify. But happens every time thereafter.

Yeah. I’m puzzled.
