Hello,
So i recently been playing around with the free airpods on my system, but when i'd go to game, listen to music the airpods would cause problematic issues with audio quality.
- I tried uninstalling the Wifi / Bluetooth drivers - no go.
- Disabled Sound Enhancements
- Exclusive Disable
- Repaired bluetooth, troubleshooting tool, etc.
- Device Manager disabled Handsfree for Airpods
The Solution was much easier than the hours I was playing with this, for some reason the MBP 16" + Airpods creates a Bluetooth network on initial pair without any method to prevent this.
If you have this issue with airpods, it isnt conflicting from a bluetooth mouse/ keyboard (I thought it was the case) its due to this bluetooth network connection thats being made in windows.
1) Go into windows search - > Type "Network Connections"
2) Right Click the Bluetooth network connection and disable it.
3) Verify its disabled, now restart and use your airpods as intended.
