All,
I've recently moved on campus and now have to use the campus wireless network for internet access. They use a 802.1x authentication protocol that uses a campus provided username and password. I can login just fine using the wireless card on my macbook pro (just type in the username and password at the prompt), but I'm attempting to set up a wireless network inside my house using an airport extreme or express (I checked with IT, they were fine with me setting up my own network and connecting up with theirs, just had to register the MAC address with them). I can't seem to figure out any way to bridge the 802.1x network. Apple tech support wasn't quite sure how to proceed, and I was hoping that someone here had some experience/insight on how to proceed. Any help at this point would be incredible.
Currently:
Campus 802.1X (Wireless a/b/g) -> Macbook Pro
Desired:
Campus 802.1X (Wireless a/b/g) -> Airport Extreme/Express -> MacBook Pro + Printer + Time Machine + MacBook + etc.
