I've got a new Belkin Wieless G Notebook card for my Tibook. I did the research and it is made by Ralink for Belkin and the ralink site has a Mac OSX .4 driver which I downloaded.

It works -- but it shuts off, just the same way the original Airport card would tend to do in my Tibook. What causes the airport to shut off and make me log in my wireless password etc again? I'm using a SBC dsl router from the phone company.

This new Belkin (Ralink) card was 20 bucks new by the way and the reception blows Airport out the window. I just can't figure out why I have to keep logging on to the wireless connection. Something in the Powerbook is shutting down the connection if I don't use it for a while.

I don't know what the problem could be - but where did you get that card? I'm looking for a new wireless card for my older TiBook as well.

Thanks!
