Hi everybody,
I was hoping someone could help me figure out a problem Im having with my AirPort. Let me first start by letting you know that I have a 2008 black macbook running 10.6.8.
Okay, this all started earlier today when I was trying to download an app on the app store and I received an error that my computer could not be verified. After some research I decided to try deleting the NetworkInterfaces.plist from my library as per multiple suggestions. This solved my problem and I was able to login to the app store.
Now, after this, I noticed something weird with my AirPort. The names for AirPort and Ethernet seem to have been switched under Network Preferences, i.e. the names are by the wrong symbols. For example: AirPort (not connected) <---> , Ethernet (connected) *wireless symbol*
I guess I could just go and change their respected names and hope it isnt anything major, but I was hoping someone might know if there is any reason this has happened or if it is just some fluke.
Thanks for any input!
