I wasn't sure where to post this so...

I have an apple airport (age unknown), but it is one that looks like a mushroom cap. I have a network set up in WPA2 format. A nintendo DS user wishes to connect to wifi, but requires a WEP set up. Can I run both kinds of network or must a switch back and forth (since I like WPA2 more)?

Unfortunately you would need to switch between the two modes.

The easiest way around this would be to buy another cheap wireless router (access point), set it to use WEP and only turn it on when needed. If you did this you would turn off DHCP/NAT on the new wireless router and connect it via an ethernet cable to your existing one.
