Hey i got an old Imac DV+ model, the airport card is detected and recognized the SSID on the hub i'm working with, but it won't connect to the internet, instead the Mac insists on using a Self assigned IP address(starting with 169.x.x.x, it changes when i reboot). So what do you guys think? what could be wrong? By the way I had the same problem using the NIC onboard and a Linksys hub...somone please help me...
