Hi folks! I got a question for you guys here. When I connect my modem directly to the computer I get speed upwards of 300kb/s, but when the modem is connected to the router it drops down to 20kb/s.
I did port forwarding on the router (netgear wgr614 v7) and its set. I check the port to see if its open on my computer (iMac) by Terminal command telnet localhost 55555, and it says connected- so its open. I even toggle between checking the option on utorrent to auto-map port(NAT-PMP or UPnP) but nothing seems to work.
I even turned off all firewalls on iMac by going to System pref,-Security,-Firewall-allow all incoming connections.
What else can be the problem? Any suggestions? Thank you.
