We have an older Mac G5 equipped with a bear extender which we want to be able to access and stay connected to our wireless network (airport extreme base station). It can connect, but then always at some point seems to "disconnect,"--internet access is lost--although the Wireless Utility program reports the computer is still connected. Rescanning and reconnecting to the network using the wireless utility does not fix the problem. Computer still appears connected to network, reports getting a good signal, but there is no actual internet; computer is not online.

So far the only way we have found to restore the connection after it drops is by restarting the computer, which is very inconvenient. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this problem and any ideas about how it could be fixed? Thanks in advance.
